Tie an 8-inch piece of yarn to the other craft stick, about one-half inch from the end. Use the yarn tie to attach the stick to the tail of the puppet.

(NOTE: The sticks can be wrapped in yarn either before or after they have been attached to the puppet. If you prefer, you can paint them instead).
