Our piano player, Slugger Ryan, is being lit. He may be a little guy but he makes big music. Slugger is actually a rod puppet operated by two puppeteers from beneath. You can see the edge of the tables at the bottom of the shot. These tables are about 3 feet off the floor and the puppeteers are scrunched underneath.
